I’m passionate about teaching you how to create successful pattern designs so you can start building your own fun and profitable design business.
Having completed a Bachelor of Textile Design, I’ve worked in the textile and surface pattern design industry since 2004 along with 3 years of experience teaching surface pattern design face to face at a leading university.
I know how important it is to get the right training so you can have a great foundation to build your design knowledge. I was able to make a career from doing something I love and I want to share my knowledge so you can do the same.

The course starts as soon as you sign up! Once you join you will receive access to the membership area with all of the course content.
Absolutely! The course is designed to be self-paced so you can work as quickly or slowly as you like. You can take breaks and easily pick up at any time and there are no renewals or subscription fees to worry about.
You’ll access to the lifetime of the course. This also entitles you to all updates and any bonuses that are added to the program at no additional cost..
As long as you are able to put pen to paper, you can succeed in the course. It’s all about developing your own personal style. For some that will be intricate and lifelike motifs while for others that could be abstract and textural motifs. You will be given lots of different techniques to help develop your design skills and flourish as a designer.
The course contains tutorials in Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC so you will need access to one or both of the programs (depending on your preference). You can use earlier versions of the programs too however all tutorials are demonstrated in Adobe CC.
It’s up to you whether you want to want to work in both programs or just one. I do recommend taking the time to learn both in the long run.
You’ll also need a computer of course:) and any drawing or mark making materials that you are interested in exploring.
